Schopedia Creator Policy

This Creator Policy explains what we expect from lesson creators and what creators can expect from us. It is designed to keep the platform fair, professional, and trustworthy for everyone.
1. Who Can Be a Creator
Schopedia welcomes educators, professionals, and skilled practitioners who can deliver high-quality tutorials and skills development lessons.
Creators must:
Have knowledge or experience in the subject or material they teach
Be able to create original, clear, and practical learning content
2. Nature of Courses on Schopedia
All courses on Schopedia are for tutorial and skills development purposes only
Courses are not formal academic or professional qualifications
Courses do not provide licensing, accreditation, or job guarantees
Learners who complete a course receive a Certificate of Completion only
Creators must not market courses as:
❌ Accredited qualifications
❌ Professional licences
❌ Guaranteed pathways to employment
3. Content Standards
Creators are expected to:
Create original content
Ensure lessons are accurate, relevant, and easy to understand
Deliver content within their declared area of specialisation
Schopedia reserves the right to:
Review all content before publication
Request revisions
Reject or remove content that does not meet platform standards
4. Originality & Plagiarism Policy
All content must be created by the creator
Copied, plagiarised, or infringing content is strictly prohibited
If content is found to be copied or plagiarised:
It will not be published or may be removed
It will not generate revenue
Responsibility lies entirely with the creator
5. Publication & Earnings
Only approved and published lessons can be sold on Schopedia
Drafts or unpublished content are not paid for
Revenue Sharing
After applicable expenses are deducted:
Part of the profit goes to the Creator and the other to Schopedia, as agreed and outlined in the respective contracts
Payments are made monthly or as outlined in the respective contracts, with a brief sales report provided to each creator.
6. Exclusivity & Fair Use
While actively publishing on Schopedia:
Creators should not publish identical or substantially similar courses on competing platforms without written permission
Creators may still:
Create unrelated content elsewhere
Offer consultancy or in-person training
7. Confidentiality
Creators must keep Schopedia’s non-public information confidential, including:
Pricing and revenue data
Platform operations
Internal systems and processes
This obligation continues even after a creator stops using the platform.
8. Compliance & Enforcement
Schopedia may suspend or remove content or accounts that:
Violate this Creator Policy
Breach the Terms of Use
Harm learners or the platform’s reputation
9. Governing Law
This Creator Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
10. Acceptance
By submitting content to Schopedia, you agree to comply with this Creator Policy, the Terms of Use, and the Lesson Creator Agreement.
